Led by Krystal Vaughn’s 22 points, VCU’s women’s basketball team rose to a 6-0 mark for the season, as the Rams defeated their cross-town rival, the Richmond Spiders, at the Siegel Center on Wednesday night: VCU 60, Richmond 51.
Next up for head coach Beth Cunningham’s VCU club is a matchup with Radford on Saturday at 8 p.m., again at the Siegel Center.
