Who’s on the sax?

If there is a better saxophonist in Richmond than this particular cat, pictured above, I haven’t heard him/her play. Who is he?

That is non other than Roger Carol of Chez Roue! This guy is awesome! I used to go see them play every Thursday night @ Southern Culture. Now , since Southern Culture is no more, they now play @ Cafe Diem every Thursday night. Go see them, you WILL NOT be disapointed! I promise.

Roger also plays in Johnny Hott’s Piedmont Souprize (from Sundays at Southern Culture!) and they are starting an every other Sunday show at Emilio’s on August 19th.
