The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports on two robberies in the Fan District that may be linked.
The first robbery occurred at 4:20 a.m. in the 1600 block of Monument Avenue. The second robbery occurred a few minutes later in the 2500 block of Floyd Avenue. In each case, the victim was walking outdoors and was confronted by two suspects, one of whom displayed a handgun.

Add 1700 block of park the same night, Robinson & Broad ATM robery same night, mulberry street a few days earlier, another rath of 4-5 throughout the fan a couple week ago…most descriptions are:
two young black males, one holding a gun. In some instances the other was waitining a light colored SUV.

The rare poster above for a gig staged one month after Woodstock was silkscreened by then-VCU art student Chuck Wrenn in 1969. Eventually, the kid pictured on guitar, who was the principle performer in the band — its name was changed soon after this poster was made — went on to become a Rock ‘n’ Roll hall-of-famer. Name him.
