Toad’s Place

West of the Boulevard News has the story about a new venue in Shockoe Slip for live shows, which will begin next month.

I know it’s not exactly “West of the Boulevard,” but Toad’s Place, a 1,500-person music and entertainment venue, is finally opening on the Riverfront.  This is great for Richmond, which has had a dearth of musical acts due to the lack of facilities to handle mid-sized crowds.
