With all the silly stuff that our state and city governments do to hobble the entertainment/hospitality industry in this town as backdrop, here’s a story about a good idea — free busing from Carytown (through the Fan) to Shockoe Bottom and back:
To the Bottom and Back operates on donations and the support of sponsors such as The Tobacco Company, Cary Street Café and Loveland Distributing. Patrons hail down a bus Tax-cab style.
