We do have a great network of community blogs and citizen sites- filling the vacuum created by the absolutely fifth-rate Disgrace. The RT-D is horribly biased in favor of the region's corporate interests and landed elite. We can't look to this pathetic fish wrapper for anything but two paragraph synopses of last night's storms and Jenna Bush's engagement ring. Case in point- the Downtown Master Plan has been amended in several very critical areas and the Planning Commission will decide in an upcoming meeting to send the latest draft to Council for adoption. Where is the coverage of this story? Not in the Disgrace! I look to the neighborhood blog ring or places like saverichmond.com for coverage of the story. We are fortunate to have so many citizens who care enough about their community to do their own reporting when our corporate cheerleader rag drops the ball. Keep up the great work!
