Our recycle bin is badly split on two corners — the side is attached only at the bottom — so I called Central Virginia Waste Management to get a replacement. They said sure, it’ll be about two weeks, they’ll leave it on my porch.
I asked whether I needed to put a tag on the old bin, so that it would be picked up rather than merely emptied, the next time the truck came around.
The phone-person told me “No, don’t put it out to be recycled. Put it in the trash.”
The plastic recycle bins ARE NOT RECYCLABLE!!!
