New buildings on Grace and Floyd

VCU is planning to knock down some buildings in the Fan District and put some new ones up.

Also on the horizon are a new residence hall and parking facility that will bring the university closer to its vision of Grace Street “as our college street,” said Brian J. Ohlinger, VCU’s associate vice president for facilities management.

  1. It’s really too bad they are going to destroy the three rowhouses on Linden St. behind the library. I believe those are “Colonial Revival” style with the classic pediments and columns on the doorway.
