Remember when people were saying the taxpayers would end up having to back the bonds? Remember when they were called “dolts,” “ill-informed,” and “too old”? “Selfish”?

That was last week. Now you can call them “on the money.”

The push for a referendum has just started.

Keep in mind that mastery of substance is not why that idiot Bush was elected to two terms, despite his past substance abuse.

The fact is that baseball is not what at stake as much as it is Richmond’s financial well-being. Some idiots still think that private corporate development still deserves public taxpayer support, despite the pickle that we are in. Its corporate welfare that is ruining this city and country, not lack of knowledge about the game of baseball (which I dare say is “geezered-out”).

Unfortunately, some in my geezered-out generation are given to using sick humor and silly wordplay. And, what the hell? Maybe the Fan District Hub itself is just one giant “senior moment.”

Instead this stupid debate for this stupid Shockoe stadium proposal is making Richmond really stupid. Its just embarressing…
