The Metropolitan Richmond SportsBackers say the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k, on Sat., Mar. 27, features “something for everyone.”
To back up that claim, one feature of the annual run will have contestants dressing up as comic strip characters, or whatever, to compete for prizes. Last year over 32,000 people participated; Ethiopia’s Tilahun Regassa had the best time (28 min., 21 sec.).
