McCormack’s Whiskey Grill & Smokehouse has opened at 204 N. Robinson St.
Mac said the new place was intentionally created with a different focus than the pub. The menu is geared toward southern comfort foods, which include barbecue, a variety of entrees and sandwiches, decadent desserts, and even funnel cake.

I think the bar has potential to be nice, but Mac is so rude to people and makes everyone feel so weird that I don’t go in there anymore. None of my friends like it either. It’s a bit confusing that the owner of the place acts in a way that actually repels the customer, but good job Mac. I won’t be coming to your establishment anytime soon.

The rare poster above for a gig staged one month after Woodstock was silkscreened by then-VCU art student Chuck Wrenn in 1969. Eventually, the kid pictured on guitar, who was the principle performer in the band — its name was changed soon after this poster was made — went on to become a Rock ‘n’ Roll hall-of-famer. Name him.
