Nov.11: Hit-and-Run Investigation

The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for a hit-and-run. Just after 2 a.m. on Sat., Nov. 7, a Jeep Wrangler struck a pedestrian in the intersection of North Boulevard and Kensington Ave. and fled the scene.

The pedestrian, a female, 23, was almost across North Boulevard when the northbound Jeep struck her, causing several broken bones. Her injuries are considered serious but not life-threatening.

The Jeep is described as a dark-colored Wrangler with round headlights and driven by a male. There may be damage to the right-front of the vehicle. The driver was last seen heading north on North Boulevard.

If anyone has any information, please call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.

  1. I am the victim, and I wanted to inform readers that I was actually crossing Kensington Avenue rather than the Boulevard. Also, the jeep was last seen heading East down Kensington (Towards the West End), rather than heading North down the Boulevard.
