Gary Gerloff performing on Monument Avenue (Easter Sunday, 2006). He died at the age of 58 on May 23, 2009.

On Saturday at the Richmond Folk Festival there will be a 2nd Line Jazz Funeral/Parade for The Great Gary Gerloff.
Parade Starts at 6:30 p.m. and goes from the Dominion Stage to Brown’s Island. Please spread the word and bring your fancy best dancing shoes and attire to send Gary off in grand style!
On Aug. 2nd a musical tribute dedicated to Gary took place at Cafe Diem.
