Via blog posts and Facebook friends who are musicians comes news that Gary Gerloff died on Saturday; he was 58.
Gary was a well-known vocalist/guitarist in the region. Worked with many well-respected musicians during his long career as a troubadour. And, he was a friend.
Last saw Gary at a VCU basketball game; he didn’t miss many of them. Now my thoughts are with his brother, Bill, the rest of their family and the legions of friends and fans Gary made along the way.

Funeral information: Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 p.m. Р6 p.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church at 10701 Huguenot Road. A mass will be held the same evening at 7 p.m. at St. Edwards. Following the mass, there will be a reception at Positive Vibe Caf̩, located in Stratford Hills shopping center.
