West Main Street Crash Investigation
The Richmond Police Department is investigating a crash involving two vehicles that occurred at 12:59 a.m. today in the 1500 block of W. Main St.
A private passenger bus was stopped in a travel lane of W. Main St. in front of the Baja Bean Company restaurant when it was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Thomas S. Burt, 31, 600 North Boulevard. A passenger in Burt’s vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Burt has been charged with Driving Under the Influence and No Operator’s License. The investigation is continuing.
