The latest entry into the Fan District’s roster of eateries, the Artist Underground Cafe, opened for business on Aug. 1st. It is located in the basement of the Stuart Court apartments building, at the intersection of Lombardy and Monument Avenue, which features the statue of ol’ Jeb Stuart on his horse. The new restaurant’s management plans to show the work of area artists on the walls on a regular basis.
